Concerns are growing inside the Real Madrid camp over new head coach Xabi Alonso, with several key players reportedly unhappy with his handling of squad selection and tactical decisions.

What’s Happening:
According to L’Équipe, discontent is surfacing among senior players over Alonso’s rotation-heavy approach and perceived lack of respect for established hierarchies—something that contrasts sharply with the previous regime under Carlo Ancelotti, where playing time was more consistent and status-driven.

Among those expressing frustration are Vinícius Júnior and Fede Valverde. Vinícius was benched for two matches—against Oviedo and Marseille—and is said to be unhappy with the decision. Valverde, on the other hand, has voiced his unwillingness to play at right-back, yet Alonso still fielded him in that role during the Villarreal clash.
