The Appointment of Paul Offor as Kano Pillars Head Coach Faces Uncertainty

There is confusion over Paul Offor’s appointment as the new head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League club Kano Pillars.

Wasilu Kawo, a member of the club’s media and marketing committee, revealed in a statement that the state government has nullified the contract of the former Sporting Lagos head coach.

“Kano State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, has invalidated the appointment of Paul Offor as the new coach of Kano Pillars,” Kawo announced on the official platform of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Kano chapter.

“The recruitment and introduction of Paul Offor were conducted without proper engagement with the relevant governmental bodies responsible for overseeing the club’s operations.”

NIGERIA NEWS 247 recalls that the ousted Kano Pillars management unveiled Paul Offor at a ceremony in Kano on Saturday.
