Tinubu Praises Eniola Bolaji for Historic Paralympic Bronze

President Bola Tinubu has commended 18-year-old Nigerian para-badminton player, Eniola Bolaji, for her historic achievement at the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

Bolaji made history as the first African athlete to win a medal in badminton at the Paralympic Games, claiming bronze in the women’s Para-badminton SL3 category.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu praised Bolaji’s courage and resilience, which led to Nigeria’s first medal at the ongoing Games. He described her as a shining example of the talent, determination, and resourcefulness of Nigerian youth.

The President expressed gratitude to Bolaji for making the country proud and encouraged her to continue aiming for greater achievements in her sports career.
