Transfer: Chelsea Midfielder Departs Maresca’s Squad for New Club

Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos has rejoined French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg on a season-long loan.

The Premier League club announced the move on their website Friday. Santos previously spent the second half of last season with Strasbourg, making 11 appearances and scoring one goal.

The 20-year-old has now departed from Maresca’s squad, which is currently on a summer tour in the USA.

“His development will continue with Strasbourg in the French top flight. Good luck, Andrey!” Chelsea’s statement read.
