Chelsea confirm deal for Djordje Petrovic

On Wednesday, Chelsea announced that goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has departed the club to sign with Premier League rivals Bournemouth on a permanent basis.

The west London club shared this update through a statement on their official website.

Petrovic originally joined Chelsea from the New England Revolution in the summer of 2023 and made a total of 31 appearances across all competitions in his inaugural season with the team.

The 25-year-old spent the entirety of the last season on loan at Strasbourg, a club in Ligue 1.

Chelsea extended their gratitude to Petrovic for his contributions during his tenure at Stamford Bridge and wished him success in his future endeavors.
