Inter Milan Set to Back Out of Lookman Transfer Deal

Inter Milan are set to notify Ademola Lookman’s agent that they will no longer pursue the Nigerian forward’s signing from Atalanta.

The Serie A rivals had been negotiating for Lookman, submitting multiple offers that were all turned down. Atalanta remains firm in their decision not to sell the player to another Italian club.

Frustrated by the stalemate, Inter is now prepared to walk away from the deal.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted on X: “Inter will talk to Ademola Lookman’s agent in next 24h, expected to inform the Nigerian forward about deal OFF.

“Negotiations with Atalanta are completely frozen since two weeks ago.

“Lookman deal was never linked to Nicola Zalewski’s move to Atalanta, as always reported.”
