Rinsola Babajide Excited to Begin New Chapter with AS Roma

Super Falcons forward Rinsola Babajide has expressed her excitement after completing a move to Italian Serie A Femminile side AS Roma, aiming to make a significant impact at her new club.

Babajide officially joined the reigning Italian champions on Monday, signing a contract that will keep her at the club until 2027. The 27-year-old winger made the switch as a free agent.

Taking to social media, Babajide shared her enthusiasm about the move:
“Happy to finally announce that I’ve signed for @ASRomaFemminile. I’m so excited to see what we can achieve together. Back in red and ready for this incredible new chapter,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Known for her pace and versatility, Babajide brings with her experience from stints in both England and Spain. She previously represented England at youth level before switching international allegiance to Nigeria.

She is currently with the Super Falcons squad, representing Nigeria at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
