Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate, Aymeric Laporte, as a potential addition to their squad.

According to Diario AS, Real Madrid would consider signing Laporte only if he is available on a free transfer.

The Spaniard is seen as a possible reinforcement for manager Carlo Ancelotti’s defense in the current summer transfer window.

Laporte is seeking an exit from Al-Awwal Park, struggling to adapt to life in the Saudi Pro League.

The 30-year-old joined Al Nassr from Manchester City last summer for €27.5 million.

Last season, the center-back was a key player for Luis Castro’s side, helping them achieve 13 clean sheets in 39 games across all competitions.

However, Laporte has expressed dissatisfaction with life in Saudi Arabia earlier this year and might be open to moving to Madrid.
