Transfer: Suleiman Signs Two-Year Deal with Slovakian Club AS Trencin

Slovakian club AS Trencin has signed Nigerian forward Sani Suleiman, NIGERIA NEWS 247 reports. Suleiman has signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional year.

The 17-year-old previously played for Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Akwa United. Joining Akwa United during the mid-season transfer window, Suleiman played a crucial role in helping the club avoid relegation.

He scored 11 goals and provided five assists in 15 league appearances for Akwa United. Before Akwa United, Suleiman played for Nigeria National League outfit Wikki Tourists.

Last weekend, he was named NPFL Rookie of the Season at the prestigious League Bloggers Award. The move to AS Trencin follows in the footsteps of notable players like Moses Simon, Samuel Kalu, and Hilary Gong, who have also played for the club.
