Transfer Update: Mason Greenwood undergoes medical with Marseille amidst imminent Manchester United exit

Manchester United and Marseille have agreed in principle on a deal to transfer Mason Greenwood, reports Mail Sport.

The initial fee is set at £27 million with an additional £3.2 million in potential add-ons.

The slight delay occurred as Greenwood awaited his approval for the transfer to proceed.

A verbal agreement has now been reached between the player and both clubs regarding the proposed transfer, although the deal has yet to be finalized.

Greenwood is expected to travel to France for a medical and to complete the necessary paperwork.

If completed, the move will see the 22-year-old forward join Marseille under the management of Roberto De Zerbi, who took charge of the Ligue 1 club in June.
