Transfer Update: Napoli Lowers Osimhen’s Release Clause to €75 Million

Napoli has reduced Victor Osimhen’s release clause to €75 million. The Nigerian striker initially had a €130 million release clause included in his contract with the Serie A club last year.

Despite not securing a transfer this summer, Osimhen is now set to join Galatasaray on a season-long loan.

The Turkish side will cover his €9/10 million salary, with no option or obligation to purchase.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on X: “Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray, here we go! Deal done, documents approved. Release clause set at €75m with Napoli holding the option to extend until 2027. Loan until June 2025, no buy option.”
