Transfer Update: Three Saudi Clubs Eye William Troost-Ekong

Nigeria defender William Troost-Ekong may be heading to Saudi Arabia this summer, according to NIGERIA NEWS 247. BBC reporter Oluwashina Okeleji has revealed that three Saudi clubs have expressed interest in the centre-back.

Troost-Ekong, who has been in excellent form for PAOK during pre-season, has fully recovered from the injury he sustained at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 30-year-old, who was previously linked with a Saudi club during the AFCON finals in Côte d’Ivoire, was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Last week, Troost-Ekong scored the decisive goal as PAOK overcame FK Borac Banja Luka 3-2 in a UEFA Champions League qualifying match.
