According to The Sun, Real Madrid’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has decided to keep Andriy Lunin from traveling with the team to this weekend’s Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund due to his recent flu diagnosis.

Lunin, who has been a key player in the competition following Thibaut Courtois’s injury, notably helped secure a penalty shootout victory over Manchester City in the quarter-finals.

Madrid aims to clinch their 15th title, and Ancelotti’s squad is scheduled to arrive in London on Thursday. Marca reports that Lunin will join the team either on Friday or Saturday to minimize the risk of spreading his illness.
