BV Elite16: Kelly Cheng and Molly Shaw Claim Gold, Evandro Oliveira and Arthur Lanci lift João Pessoa Title

Kelly Cheng and Molly Shaw clinched their first Beach Pro Tour gold as a team with a straight-sets victory over fellow Americans Terese Cannon and Megan Kraft (21-16, 21-17) in the João Pessoa Elite16 final.

The all-American final capped a strong tournament for both duos, but it was Cheng & Shaw who controlled the match from start to finish. Olympic champions Ana Patricia and Duda gave Brazilian fans something to cheer about, securing bronze with a dominant win over compatriots Carol and Rebecca.

Brazil Triumphs in Men’s Final

In the men’s tournament, Brazil’s Evandro Oliveira and Arthur Lanci delivered under pressure, thrilling the home crowd with a 2-0 win (21-15, 27-25) against France’s Rémi Bassereau and Calvin Aye.

The bronze medal match featured an all-Dutch showdown, with Boermans & De Groot defeating Van de Velde & Brouwer to complete the podium.
