Czechia has achieved a historic milestone by advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship for the first time ever. In Pasay City, the Czech team dominated Tunisia in straight sets, winning 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-23) to secure their spot among the final eight.
Opposite hitter Patrik Indra led the way with 14 points, closely supported by Jan Galabov and Lukas Vasina, who each contributed 13 points.
For Tunisia, Oussama Ben Romdhane and Ali Bongui scored 10 points apiece.
“We’re writing Czech volleyball history,” Galabov said proudly. “Dreams do come true, but our journey isn’t over yet.”
Czechia will now face either Serbia or Iran on Thursday, with a coveted place in the semifinals at stake.
