After much anticipation, it’s now official: Elizabet Inneh has joined Volero Le Cannet, the French powerhouse gearing up for a busy season in the CEV Champions League, as well as domestic league and cup competitions.

The Romanian-Hungarian opposite arrives following a successful stint in Poland with Chemik Police, where she claimed the national championship and finished as the club’s top scorer during the 2023/24 season. Prior to that, Inneh competed in Türkiye with Bahçelievler Belediyespor, following a standout two-year run in South Korea.

Inneh made history during her time in the Korean V-League. Playing for Daejeon Korea Ginseng Corporation in 2022/23 and Pepper Savings Bank in 2021/22, she became the first player in nearly a decade to break the 1,000-point mark in a single season—scoring an astounding 1,015 points. Only two other players in league history have achieved the same feat: Brazilian star Joyce Silva (1,009 points in 2013/14) and Colombian powerhouse Madelaynne Montaño, who still holds the all-time record with 1,076 points set in 2011/12.

With her arrival at Volero Le Cannet, Inneh brings elite-level experience, a proven scoring touch, and a formidable presence at the net—making her one of the key names to watch in the upcoming Champions League season.
