Novara and Scandicci Advance to Courmayeur Cup Final in Italian Women’s Volleyball

The stage is set for a thrilling Courmayeur Cup final as Igor Gorgonzola Novara and Savino Del Bene Scandicci prepare to battle for the championship.
Novara delivered a standout performance in the first semifinal, upsetting Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano 3–1. A balanced offensive effort fueled the victory, with Ebrar Karakurt’s absence filled by key contributions across the squad: Nika Tolok led the charge with 19 points, followed by Lina Alsmeier (13), and Arisa Ishikawa (11). Middle blocker Sara Bonifacio also shined, adding 12 points, including four blocks. Conegliano, unusually off pace, leaned heavily on Isabelle Haak’s 22 points, with support from Daalderop and Zhu Ting, who chipped in 10 apiece.
In the second semifinal, Scandicci powered past Vero Volley Milano 3–1. Avery Skinner tallied 23 points, while Ekaterina Antropova added 22 in a dominant offensive display. Milano responded through Paola Egonu’s 26 points and Jordan Thompson’s stand-in, Lanier, who added 8, but Scandicci’s pressure from the service line proved decisive in the closing set.
