West Brom Manager Ryan Mason Offers Positive Update on Josh Maja’s Recovery

West Bromwich Albion manager, Ryan Mason has delivered encouraging news on Nigerian striker Josh Maja’s recovery from injury, according to Nigeria News 247.

Maja underwent surgery in January after sustaining a calf injury while playing for the Baggies, which sidelined him for the remainder of the season. However, the 25-year-old has been making steady progress in recent weeks as he works toward full fitness ahead of the new campaign.

Speaking at a press conference, Mason confirmed the forward is on track in his rehabilitation.

“He’s in a good place. He’s progressing well, and we’re happy with where he is at,” Mason stated.

Before his injury, Maja had an impressive run, scoring 12 goals in 26 league appearances for Albion last season.
