Samsung Electronics has unveiled its 2024 television lineup, which includes the latest Neo QLED 8K and 4K models, as well as OLED TVs.
In a recent launch event in Lagos, the South Korean company announced that the new lineup features advanced AI-driven technology aimed at enhancing the home entertainment experience.
“The Neo QLED 8K is the flagship of Samsung’s latest TV lineup, featuring the cutting-edge NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, representing a major advancement in AI TV technology,” the company stated.
Samsung emphasized that this processor includes a Neural Processing Unit, which offers double the speed of its predecessor and an eightfold increase in neural networks, from 64 to 512, ensuring an exceptional viewing experience with sharp details, regardless of the content source.
“Every scene on the Neo QLED 8K is visually stunning, thanks to its AI-powered picture technology,” Samsung added.
With 8K AI Upscaling Pro, users can enjoy their favorite shows and movies with enhanced detail and picture clarity that surpasses traditional 4K TVs.
The AI Motion Enhancer Pro provides smoother and clearer fast action, a feature that Samsung described as “ideal for sports enthusiasts.”
Samsung’s new TVs are also designed to seamlessly connect with a smart ecosystem from the moment they are set up.
“Once users power on their new Samsung TV, it automatically recognizes and connects to existing networks and devices, all managed through a simple notification on their smartphones,” the company explained.
