American Singer Sean Kingston and Mother Indicted in $1 Million Fraud Case

Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, were indicted on Friday in a Miami federal court. The charges stem from an alleged scheme involving fraudulent bank transactions that resulted in over $1 million in property accumulation.

The pair face one count of conspiracy to commit fraud and five counts of wire fraud. They are accused of defrauding sellers of high-end specialty vehicles, jewelry, and other items using false documents.

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida stated that the defendants “unjustly enriched themselves by falsely claiming that monetary payment transfers had been completed.”
