Boxing champion Andrew Tham passes away following a motorcycle accident.

28-year-old Andrew Tham, a champion boxer, passed away three days following a severe motorcycle accident in which he was critically injured.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:50 PM on Thursday when Tham collided with a Hyundai Tucson car on the B8039 road near Lenziemill Road in Cumbernauld.

Andrew Tham, the Scottish featherweight champion from Cumbernauld, tragically passed away on Sunday at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow after a motorcycle accident.

Sgt Gemma Blackadder is appealing to the public for any information that could help with the investigation. She expressed condolences to Andrew’s loved ones during this challenging period.
