“Face Me, Donald”: Harris Challenges Trump to Direct Debate
Kamala Harris Launches Scathing Attack on Trump, Dares Him to Debate
At her largest campaign rally yet in Atlanta, Georgia, US presidential hopeful Kamala Harris unleashed a fierce attack on Donald Trump, saying the momentum is shifting in the White House race. Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee, dared Trump to debate her face-to-face, calling out his recent refusal to engage in a traditional debate.
With just 98 days until the election, Harris is gaining momentum, having raised $200 million since Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the race. She pledged to expand the party’s battleground map and appeal to young Black voters, delivering a firm 20-minute speech to 10,000 supporters.
Harris also criticized Trump’s “extreme abortion bans” and his lack of concern for border security, saying he only cares about himself. She emphasized her focus on key economic goals like affordable healthcare and tackling rising consumer costs.
As the White House race heats up, Harris’s search for a vice presidential pick is nearing its end, with her team announcing a campaign tour with her new running mate in key battleground states. Trump and his running mate J.D. Vance have also announced a rally in Atlanta, signaling a fiercely contested battle for Georgia’s votes.
