Shake Shack shutting down six locations in California

Popular burger restaurant Shake Shack is shutting down six locations in California, including five in Los Angeles, due to the state’s unaffordable $20 per hour minimum wage.

Currently, over hundreds of their employees just got fired.

Who could’ve seen this coming? Report has it that “these Shacks are not projected to provide acceptable returns in the foreseeable future,” – Shake Shack in their filing to the SEC.

The $20 minimum wage paid by the Democrats government has also forced several chains – including McDonald’s, Burger King, and even In-N-Out Burger – to jack up prices to break even with the higher wages they have to pay.
