Tinubu play host to the new President of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday hosted the new President of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, at the State House in Abuja. It was gathered that the meeting is a courtesy call on Tinubu by the newest member of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, Authority of Heads of State and Government.

President Tinubu welcomed President Bassirou Faye of Senegal to the State House, congratulating him on his recent inauguration, which has further strengthened constitutional democracy in the West African region.

Together, we restated our shared commitment to shaping a West Africa that is resilient, democratic, economically strong, and free from terror – one where our collective efforts enhance the dignity and security of all our people in West Africa, said Tinubu.
