Trump Warns Americans: “We’re Very Close to World War”

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has warned that World War III looms, but he promises to prevent it if elected president of the United States again.

The former president also reiterated that he would “settle” the war between Russia and Ukraine if re-elected in November.

“You’re very close to world war,” Trump said at his campaign rally in Michigan on Saturday. “I will restore a thing called peace through strength.”

Trump previously announced he had a call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, during which he assured Zelenskiy that he would end the war. Zelenskiy agreed to arrange a meeting with Trump.
