US Election: Nancy Pelosi Reacts to Assassination Attempt on Donald Trump

Former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, has responded to the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

Pelosi, a prominent figure who opposed Trump’s re-election during the 2016 presidential election, expressed her condemnation of the attack.

NIGERIA NEWS 247 earlier reported the assassination attempt on Trump during his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Pelosi, whose husband, Paul Pelosi, was also a victim of an assassination attempt, condemned the violence and expressed gratitude for Trump’s safety.

“As one whose family has been the victim of political violence, I know firsthand that political violence of any kind has no place in our society. I thank God that former President Trump is safe,” she wrote on X.

“As we learn more details about this horrifying incident, let us pray that all those in attendance at the former President’s rally today are unharmed.”
