US Speaker Announces Investigation into Trump Assassination Attempt

The Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, has announced a comprehensive investigation into the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump.

Johnson stated that Director of the US Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, and other FBI officials will be summoned to testify before the House committee.

“The American people deserve the truth,” Johnson emphasized. “We will summon Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle and other relevant officials from DHS and the FBI for an immediate hearing before our committees.”

The assassination attempt occurred at 6:02 pm on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, while Trump was campaigning at the Fairgrounds.
