Why we lunched Katyusha rockets at Israeli bases – Hezbollah official
The Hezbollah official in a press statement has explained why they lunched Katyusha rockets at Israel bases. The statement reads:
“On the day of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, the leader of martyrs, and the symbol of sacrifice and redemption, and after what happened today, Sunday, the 25th of August, 2024, and within the framework of the first response to the heinous crime committed by the Zionist enemy against the mujahideen in southern Lebanon, which led to the martyrdom of the great leader who gave his life for the resistance and its people, a massive missile strike was carried out targeting a large number of military sites and Israeli enemy settlements in northern occupied Palestine.
This strike is a strong warning to the Zionist enemy that their crimes will not go unpunished, and that the resistance has the capability and determination to respond forcefully to any aggression.
The military operations will continue, and the coming days will witness more precise and intense strikes on several sites and Israeli military positions.
We confirm that our response is now in full swing, and we will not hesitate to expand and escalate the operations until the Zionist enemy realizes that the resistance is capable of inflicting severe punishment and avenging the martyrs with force and determination.”
