Gov. Yusuf pays Basic Transport Allowance for Kano intending pilgrims

Kano state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has paid the Basic Transport Allowance for all Kano intending pilgrims which is estimated to be $500 each.

Governor Yusuf made this know on his X account where he posted the details which reads:

“I was delighted to attend the demonstration of Hajj exercise to Kano intending pilgrims, held at the Kano Hajj Camp.”

“I used the occasion to note that if the Basic Transport Allowance goes by the initial rate of N1,250/dollar, the state’s intending pilgrims BTA would be $500. This gesture is to enable the pilgrims feel at home in order to perform the Hajj seamlessly.”

He also announced that the Kano State Deputy Governor, H.E Aminu Abdulsalam will lead the state government’s delegation and the pilgrims to the Hajj this year. He wished all intending pilgrims a blissful and successful trip.
