2027: Primate Ayodele Warns Govs: ADC Will Unseat Some of you in 2027

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned Nigerian governors not to underestimate the opposition coalition platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), warning that some governors risk losing their seats if they do not take the threat seriously.

In a statement issued Tuesday by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele said the ADC coalition has the potential to capture several seats in the upcoming elections, and governors must intensify efforts to secure their re-election.

He stressed that several incumbent governors may only retain power through rigging, as they would struggle to win fair and free elections.

“Some Nigerian governors will be removed from power by ADC if care isn’t taken; they will find it difficult to get re-election in their respective offices. On a free and fair election, they won’t win; they can only rig,” the prophet said.

He further advised that the governors should not underestimate the coalition, even if its impact is not immediately apparent.

This warning follows a recent statement by Primate Ayodele, where he singled out governors from Akwa Ibom, Delta, Enugu, Cross River, Kaduna, Zamfara, and Ondo states, urging them to work diligently and pray to secure their second terms.

“The governors of Akwa Ibom, Delta, Enugu, Cross River, Kaduna, Zamfara, and Ondo must work well to get a second term in office. It’s not certain for them except they work hard and pray,” he noted.

Primate Ayodele described this as a clear signal of what to expect in the 2027 elections, emphasizing the need for the governors to prepare adequately.
