Apostle Suleiman Calls Out Dangote Over Accidents Caused by His Truck Drivers
Apostle Johnson Suleman, General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, has publicly condemned Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote following a series of deadly accidents involving trucks owned by Dangote’s companies.
The latest incident occurred in Auchi, Edo State, where a Dangote truck was involved in a crash that claimed the lives of three people. Suleman accused the Dangote Group of entrusting heavy-duty vehicles to untrained and drug-impaired youths, endangering innocent lives.
Taking to Instagram, Suleman addressed Dangote directly, expressing his frustration:
“@Alikodangote, you are not the only rich man on earth. Your recklessness in managing your business has caused harm to families and made many parents childless. Your truck just killed 3 people a few minutes ago in Auchi. You give trucks to little boys who are high on drugs and untrained. This won’t go unchallenged.”
Social media activist VeryDarkMan also condemned the Dangote Group, accusing it of negligence and highlighting the issue of unlicensed drivers operating their trucks. He urged the government to regulate truck drivers more strictly, warning that without action, communities like Edo State may reconsider allowing Dangote trucks to operate in their areas.
Nigeria News 247 reports that a separate accident involving a Dangote truck resulted in serious injuries to Ruth Otabor, sister of former reality TV star Phyna, in Auchi. Ruth’s leg was so severely damaged that it required amputation. Phyna has accused the company of attempting to cover up details of the crash and is demanding justice for her sister.
