Aliko Dangote Praises Mr Eazi’s Business Acumen at Wedding to Temi Otedola

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, expressed surprise and admiration upon learning that Nigerian musician and entrepreneur, Mr Eazi, operates businesses in 18 African countries.

Speaking at the wedding of Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, Dangote commended Mr Eazi’s impressive entrepreneurial drive. In a widely shared video from the event, he predicted a prosperous future for the couple.

“I never knew you had businesses in 18 African countries,” Dangote remarked. “I must really congratulate you—you’re an impressive individual. With both of you being so charming and entrepreneurial, I have no doubt that in a few years, we’ll be calling you the richest people on earth.”

Dangote also spoke fondly of Femi Otedola, chairman of Geregu Power and First Bank, referring to him as more than a friend.

“Femi is not just my friend—he is my brother. Wherever you see me, you see Femi. If I have a brother who isn’t from the same mother and father, it’s him,” he said.

According to Nigeria News 247, Temi Otedola has officially dropped her father’s surname following her wedding to Mr Eazi, which took place in Iceland.
