The Take It Back Movement, a key organizer of the EndBadGovernance nationwide protest, has announced plans for a one-million-man protest to take place on Saturday across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Mr. Sanyaolu Juwon, the National Coordinator of the movement, made this known in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

NIGERIA NEWS 247 reports that the protest, which aims to draw attention to the hardships facing citizens, began on August 1 and is expected to conclude on Saturday, August 10.

Despite the protest being hijacked by criminal elements, it has seen a large turnout across the country, especially in the northern states.

Even after President Bola Tinubu’s appeal in a nationwide broadcast on Sunday, urging protesters to stand down and give his administration more time, the demonstrations have continued in Abuja, Kano, and other parts of the country.
