#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria: Abiodun commends Ogun youths for shunning protest
On Thursday, Dapo Abiodun, the Governor of Ogun State, praised the prevailing peace and calm within the state. He noted that the behavior of residents during the initial day of the anti-hunger demonstration was praiseworthy.
The governor specifically acknowledged the youth and students for opting not to participate in the protest. In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Lekan Adeniran, Abiodun emphasized that there were no protests occurring in Ogun State, as young people adhered to the government’s counsel to avoid being manipulated by discontented politicians.
