Governor Hope Uzodinma Asserts Southeast Youth Will Not Participate in Anti-Tinubu Protest
Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State assured that Southeast youths will not participate in the planned national protest against President Bola Tinubu. He labeled those organizing the protest as enemies of Nigeria aiming to destabilize the national government.
Speaking at the grand finale of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign for local government elections in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Uzodinma emphasized unity and support for the current administration.
He stated, “To the youths of Southeast, our enemies are trying to disrupt the national government as we move forward in development. This government belongs to all of us, including President Bola Tinubu’s administration. Therefore, no one from the Southeast will engage in protests. We are optimistic and unified.”
Acknowledging the challenges faced by the country, Uzodinma pledged the government’s commitment to improving livelihoods through infrastructure development, economic empowerment, and enhanced food security. He urged the youths to collaborate with their leaders and remain steadfast.
