‘Lavish Spending Wrecking Nigeria’ – Primate Ayodele Slams Tinubu Administration

On Sunday, Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration for its extravagant spending.

Primate Ayodele argued that the administration’s excessive expenditures are harming Nigeria’s economy rather than addressing its issues.

In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the clergyman expressed concern that the government’s spending habits are detrimental to economic recovery.

Primate Ayodele said, “President Tinubu’s approach is exacerbating Nigeria’s economic problems instead of finding solutions. The unnecessary lavish spending is counterproductive.”

He added, “I question whether government officials are aware of the situation. If they are, they should reconsider their expenditures during this challenging period.”

He concluded by saying, “Without significant changes, I don’t foresee an improvement in our economy by 2025. The government must reduce costs; its current spending is worsening the economic crisis. Nigeria is in serious trouble, but the administration seems indifferent.”
