Senator Adams Oshiomhole has urged Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Oshiomhole made this appeal while speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.

His remarks follow a report by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) indicating that inflation reached 34.19 percent in June 2024.

The NIGERIA NEWS 247 reported that the high cost of living has been attributed to the floating of the naira and the removal of fuel subsidies by the current administration.

Oshiomhole, a former governor and current senator representing Edo North, expressed optimism that Tinubu’s policies would yield positive results over time, calling for patience.

“You have to agree that some of the policy initiatives will require more than a year to materialize,” he said. “What would the president gain by resorting to policy choices that are unlikely to deliver comfort in the long run?”

“For me, it is about having faith that in the long run, these things will work out,” he added.
