Piers Morgan Questions Nigeria Foreign Minister Yusuf Tuggar: “You Seem to Be Panicking” Over Genocide

British broadcaster Piers Morgan has assured Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, that his recent interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored will be broadcast in full.

Morgan’s statement came in response to Tuggar’s concerns that selective editing could misrepresent his comments regarding the alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria.

Earlier, Tuggar had taken to X, urging that the interview be aired uncut. He warned that any selective editing could distort Nigeria’s image and fuel “misleading narratives and allegations of religious persecution in Nigeria,” adding, “Nigeria’s truth must not be distorted to fit external biases.”

Replying to Tuggar on X, Morgan said: “You seem to be panicking, Foreign Minister. Rest assured, we will air your comments in full. The show is called Uncensored for a reason. Whether people believe what you said remains to be seen.”
