The entire executive committee members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), representing Ward C in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, have submitted their resignations from the party.

Their decision was communicated through a letter addressed to the chairman of the PDP in Bende Local Government Area and copied to the Abia chairman and the Acting National chairman of the party.

Led by chairman Francis Eke Okoye, the PDP ward executive members cited the perceived disorderliness within the national leadership of the party as the primary reason for their collective resignation.
