EPL: Ederson Reveals Man City’s Choice for Guardiola’s Successor

Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has claimed that the club has already identified a potential replacement for manager Pep Guardiola.

With Guardiola’s future at City uncertain—his current contract set to expire at the end of the season—Ederson expressed confidence in the club’s preparations. “City is a very well-structured club, well-managed, with great directors and a strong CEO,” he said in an interview with TNT Sports Brazil.

“I believe the club already has the next manager in mind. When Pep decides to leave, they will aim to maintain the same approach and philosophy.”

Ederson acknowledged that losing Guardiola would be significant, stating, “Of course it would be a great loss; we’re talking about the best manager in the world. But I see a club that is well-prepared for the post-Pep era.”

Guardiola has led the team to numerous titles, including six Premier League championships and a UEFA Champions League trophy.
