Jigawa Golden Stars, City FC, and Mailantarki FC have faced relegation from the Nigeria National League, having secured the bottom three positions in Group D. Consequently, these teams will compete in the Nigeria Nationwide League One in the upcoming season.
On the brighter side, Sokoto United claimed the top spot in the group with 23 points, closely followed by Sporting Supreme with 22 points. Both teams have earned a spot in the NNL Super Eight playoffs.
The playoffs will determine the 2024 NNL champions, with the winning team emerging from this fiercely contested stage.
Moreover, four teams will secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League from the NNL, marking a significant achievement for the deserving clubs.
