The Nigeria National League (NNL) Reschedules Super Eight Playoff Tournament
Originally slated for May 23-30 at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu, the Super Eight playoff tournament has been postponed to June 7-14, 2024, at the same venue. NNL Chairman, Mr. George Aluo, announced the shift in date due to the scheduling conflict with the President Federation Cup round of 32 matches. Despite the adjustment, all preparations for a successful competition are in place, with commendations to Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, and Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Bar. Lloyd Ekwerenmadu, for hosting the championship. The participating teams include Nasarawa Utd, Sporting Supreme, Sokoto Utd, El-Kanemi Warriors, Beyond Limit FC, Madiba FC, Inter Lagos, and Ikorodu Utd. The Super Eight playoff will determine the second-tier league champion and teams promoted to the elite league.
