NPFL: El-Kanemi Warriors Maintain Unbeaten Streak with Home Draw Against Kwara Utd

El-Kanemi Warriors extended their unbeaten streak in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after battling to a 1-1 draw against Kwara United in Maiduguri on Wednesday.

The match saw Kwara United take the lead with a penalty from Emmanuel Ogbole in the 67th minute. However, the home team fought back and equalized through Risilanu Ismaili, who found the net deep into stoppage time, securing a hard-earned point for El-Kanemi.

Following this result, El-Kanemi Warriors climbed to fifth place in the league standings. Looking ahead, they will face a challenging away match against Rivers United on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Kwara United currently sits in 11th position and will host defending champions Rangers in Ilorin on the same day.
