Kwara United Appeals NPFL Fine for Broadcast Disruption
Kwara United has lodged an appeal against the Nigeria Premier Football League’s (NPFL) fine of N6 million imposed on the club for the disruption of the live broadcast during their match against Akwa United last weekend. The club’s media officer, Jimoh Bashir, confirmed the appeal, stating, “We have already appealed the fine by the NPFL.”
Kwara United is now awaiting a response from the league body. Additionally, the club was charged for allegedly providing false information, leading to the rescheduling of their match against Bayelsa United.
