Onigbinde criticizes players following Doma’s loss to Plateau United
Doma United’s head coach, Akinade Onigbinde, attributed his team’s loss against Plateau United to a lack of communication.
The Savannah Tigers faced a harsh 4-0 defeat against the Peace Boys at the New Jos Stadium on Saturday.
Onigbinde expressed disappointment with his players’ performance and stated the need for the team to re-strategize and address the identified mistakes. Following the defeat, Doma United slipped to the 12th position.
Plateau United’s goals were scored by Bernard Mundi, Sunday Anthony, David Onovo, and Barnabas Daniel. Onigbinde emphasized a communication gap among the goalkeeper, defenders, and strikers, which he believed contributed to the loss.
He highlighted the importance of preparing for the next game against Remo Stars and aiming to secure maximum points.
