Arsenal have secured the loan signing of Neto from Bournemouth. The Gunners made the move after Aaron Ramsdale’s permanent transfer to Southampton, leaving David Raya as the only senior goalkeeper.

Manager Mikel Arteta was forced to act swiftly in the transfer market. Initially, he aimed to sign Joan Garcia from Espanyol, but despite agreeing personal terms, the LaLiga club refused to lower their €25-30 million release clause.

After Arsenal’s €20 million bid was rejected, the club opted to bring in Neto instead.
