Manchester United legend Gary Neville has said Raheem Sterling will not be forced out by Chelsea. Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville emphasized that the 29-year-old winger will not join a club he doesn’t favor.

Sterling has been sidelined from Chelsea’s first team under Enzo Maresca and is expected to leave Stamford Bridge. He’s been linked with moves to Arsenal and Manchester United ahead of the transfer deadline.

However, Neville believes Sterling could still remain at Chelsea after the transfer window closes.

“Sterling won’t be bullied by Chelsea. If it’s not right for him, he won’t leave. They might have to keep him, shake hands, and continue for the next six months,” Neville said. “He won’t be pushed to a club he doesn’t want. Arsenal and Man Utd don’t make sense to me, but he’s a good player who would strengthen their squads.”
