Farmer Attacked, Hand Amputated by Bandits in Kaduna

A farmer, Abdulkarim, was reportedly left seriously injured after armed bandits amputated his hand while he was working on his farm in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Security analyst Bakatsine shared details of the attack on X, stating: “On Friday evening, armed bandits amputated the hand of a farmer, Abdulkarim, and severely injured him in Kubau LGA of Kaduna State. The attackers reportedly found him working on his dry-season farm when they carried out the assault. Sources say the violence was triggered after he confronted them.

“How long will farmers continue to pay the price for insecurity in their own fields?”

Authorities have not yet issued a comment on the incident.
