Security operatives in Anambra State have arrested a herbalist named Ezekiel, who was found in possession of approximately 11 different human bones.

Ezekiel, originally from Ezza in Ebonyi State, was apprehended over the weekend in Neni, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, where he resides. The arrest followed a tip-off from whistleblowers about suspicious activities at his residence.

A trending video on social media shows the security operatives raiding the suspect’s home and recovering various human bones. During interrogation, Ezekiel admitted that the bones were human but claimed they were given to him by a relative from an area in Ebonyi State affected by communal clashes.

Ezekiel stated that he uses the bones to create various ‘high-quality charms’ for clients.

The video also features one of the interrogators advising the community to carefully vet potential tenants and be aware of unusual activities in their vicinity. The interrogator praised the whistleblower for providing the crucial information that led to the operation and encouraged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious behavior.

Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, confirmed the incident and stated that the suspect is currently in custody and undergoing further interrogation. Additional details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
