Gov. Peter Mba Awards Full Scholarship to 17-year-old Israel Echezona

The Executive Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah awarded a full scholarship to Master Israel Echezona, a 17-year-old indigene of our state, who emerged as the overall best candidate in the entrance examination of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria.

Nigeria News 247 gathered that it is part of the governor’s input in promoting excellence in education, skills  and character.

According to the report on his X (formerly Twitter) account, the governor said:  “Today, I awarded a full scholarship to Master Israel Echezona, a 17-year-old indigene of our state, who emerged as the overall best candidate in the entrance examination of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria.”

“He has not only made us proud but has also become a source of inspiration to other children. Our administration shall give him all the assistance he needs to realise his dream. We shall offset the N23.2m initial fee and handle all of his other financial commitments until he completes the programme.”

“I extend my sincere congratulations to him and implore him to continue on the path of excellence in order to justify our government’s investment and faith in him.”

“We shall keep promoting excellence by equipping children and youths of Enugu State with the requisite education and skills to excel in life.”
